TASTY RECIPES FOR WEIGHT LOSS // a full day of eating

Hey! Enjoy these simple recipes that keep losing weight fun, tasty, and definitely not boring! These are the types of meals I consistently eat to lose weight. BREAKFAST



Green Juice


Ingredients

1 lemon (peeled)

2 green apples

3 ribs celery

1 cucumber

1 inch ginger root

1 bunch parsley

• large handful of wheatgrass (optional)


Pass all ingredients thru a juicer and enjoy.



Green Smoothie


Ingredients

1 cup water

1 orange (peeled)

1 cup frozen pineapple

1 cup frozen mango

1 ripe banana

1 tbsp chia seeds

1/4 tsp daily green boost


Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend on high for 1 to 2 minutes until smooth.


LUNCH


Vegetable Nori Rolls


Ingredients


2 nori sheets

1 to 2 tbsp oil free hummus (I used the recipe from my cookbook Eating Whole)

1 carrot (peeled and shredded)

1/4 cup shredded red cabbage

1/2 of a cucumber (sliced into thin strips)

1/4 avocado (thinly sliced)

spring mix or romaine lettuce (coarsely torn)

small handful of broccoli or sunflower sprouts if desired

lemon juice and nutritional yeast flakes to taste

On a clean flat surface (like a dry cutting board) Lay the nori sheet shiny side down. Spread the hummus in a thin layer all over the nori sheet leaving a little bit of space at both ends. Layer the carrots, cabbage, cucumber, avocado, spring mix/romaine, and sprouts in an almost pyramid shape on the side closet to you. Squeeze a bit of lemon juice, and sprinkle some nutritional yeast if desired.


Carefully roll starting at the side closest to you. Use your hands to help you roll tightly until you reach the end. Repeat this again with a second nori sheet and ingredients, so that in total you have 2.


Using your sharpest knife, cut into your desired size of rolls, and enjoy immediately.
