Here’s a fresh way to add in more fruits and greens to your day. Tangy and sweet, easy and fast to incorporate at any meal!


1 grapefruit (peeled, 1/2 juiced for dressing, 1/2 cut up for pieces in the salad)

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 small avocado (mashed)

1 clove garlic (chopped)

Desired amount of arugula and mixed greens

salt and pepper to taste

1. Peel and half grapefruit. Chop half for small pieces in salad, juice half into a salad bowl.

2. Add the apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, mashed avocado, garlic, and desired salt and pepper into the salad bowl with the grapefruit juice. Whisk until combined.

3. Place the grapefruit pieces, arugula, and mixed greens into the salad bowl and toss until combined well with the dressing. Salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
